Chest Exercises
As an upper body exercise, chest exercises are fairly easy to do and can often involve many other muscle groups (e.g. press ups, bench presses) . The more muscle groups involved in an exercise the more likely muscle groups are likely to be balanced (in proportion) and the greater the oxygen and energy requirements.
This is why exercises like press ups and bench presses are great all round exercises for building strength, burning fat and providing a cardio workout when the rest time between sets is minimised.
